Simply add balsamic vinegar and seasonings to Redpack Multi-purpose Marinara Sauce for the perfect pizza base.
¼ cup garlic, minced & sautéed
½ cup balsamic vinegar
2 quarts Redpack Multi-purpose Marinara Sauce
¼ cup Italian seasoning, dried
salt to taste
2 Tbsp. pepper
Garnish: Basil, fresh chopped
Cook vinegar and garlic until reduced by 1/3. Add remaining ingredients, simmer for at least one hour. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Suggested pizza toppings: Feta cheese, spinach, mushrooms, Italian Sausage.
Makes about six 16” pizzas.
