Chicken Parmesan with Marinara Recipe

Classic Chicken Parmesan is even more sophisticated with Redpack Multi-purpose Marinara Sauce and balsamic vinegar.

½ cup roasted red peppers, drained and diced
3 tsp purple onions, diced and sautéed
1/3 cup roasted garlic
4 tsp white balsamic vinegar
3 tsp oil
5 cups Redpack Multi-Purpose Marinara Sauce
4 boneless frozen chicken breasts,
cooked according to directions
Mozzarella Cheese, sliced
Parmesan Cheese
Basil, for garnish

In large sauce pan, combine first five ingredients. Let
simmer for at least one hour before serving.

Cover the bottom of a casserole pan with marinara sauce. Placed cooked chicken pieces in pan, spoon marinara sauce over each. Then lay slices of mozzarella over each piece of chicken and bake at 400° F for 10-12 minutes, or until mozzarella begins to brown. Serve with spaghetti, then sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
